this is what I got. I love it, and it didn't break the bank. Compared to oled. Got the 55" mu8000. It was CAN $1200, about $920 US. I was watching some movies and thought "Is this remastered?" it was the motion feature adding extra inbetween frames that made the movie seem different (smoother motion) than before on my old tv.

I was waiting for the TCL 6 series 65 inch but it's sold out everywhere for at least the next month. I was curious as to how this TV stacks up to it. Looks wise, I definitely prefer this one, but this one isn't FALD.

Can someone show me how to raise the volume with the new remote? The VOL button only functions as a mute button, I can't change the master volume anywhere.

Does anyone have an opinion on how this compares with the LG UJ7700 series? The LG has Dolby Vision which a lot of iTunes 4K movies seem to be offered in, so I would hate to miss out on that. But the LG is only 60hz refresh. Not sure which would be more important.

For all the comments regarding LED vs LCD: LCD refers to the panel itself i.e. what makes the colors. LED refers to the backlighting. An LCD TV can be an LED TV. Older LCD TVs used cold cathode fluorescent (CCFL) backlighting whereas newer ones use LEDs.
